Installations Manager- Leeds

Job Summary 

  • This role will appeal to someone who is proactive, customer focused and can work un-supervised.  The individual needs to be flexible in their approach to work
  • To Manage all aspects of the installation/machine process from receiving Internal Machine Orders to completing the work required
  • Responsible for the supervising of workshop technician to complete all work to the required standards and in a timely and efficient manner
  • To liaise with sales administration to complete the work schedule
  • To ensure all legislation regarding vehicle maintenance and scheduled servicing is adhered to
  • Manage workshop technician to enable all aspects and responsibilities of the role are fulfilled


  • Ensure all machines are prepared to exacting specification from IMOs
  • Manage the preparation all machines to a high standard of workmanship ready to be commissioned at customer sites
  • Ensuring all installations are performed to the required standards
  • Ensuring the workshop and machine store in a clean and tidy condition
  • Be of a smart, presentable appearance at all times
  • When requested, get involved with site surveys for machine installations and removals.
  • Fill in correct paperwork for all machine movements
  • Plan and implement all machine movements
  • Day to day management and development of workshop technician

Person Specification & Qualifications

  • Basic plumbing and installation experience – desirable
  • 7.5t  driving license – desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated with an enthusiastic approach to change and improvement
  • A team player as well as remote working
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive approach to all situations
  • Ability to assess an installation / removal with considerations for Health & Safety at all times
  • Good written and verbal communication skills via telephone, face to face and e-mail
  • Ability to prioritise work
