Regional Sales Manager – Midlands

Department: Sales
Reports to: Head of Sales
Location: Midlands – Birmingham / Warwickshire and surrounding areas
Position: Full Time

Job Summary

Within a defined geographical area, achieve targets for:-

  • Self-generating new business sale opportunities for vending and self-operated hot beverage equipment
  • 50% New Business / 50% Account Management existing customer
  • Attending and converting company generated appointments and leads  for vending and self-operated hot beverage equipment
  • Identifying product and wholesale opportunities
  • Canvassing for the required information to use on CRM system and future marketing campaigns
  • Manage new customers to point of handover with Regional Account Managers
  • Ability to sell into a cross section of markets within region
  • Proactively account manage and develop existing accounts


Generate and attend the required number of appointments/opportunities to convert to the targeted number of new machine placements and gross profit targets.

  • Attend and feedback on opportunities and appointments generated by the company
  • Self-generate opportunities and attend appointments
  • Generate new leads from canvassing, cold calling, existing data base/CRM systems, exhibitions, internet etc.
  • Input all sales activities through CRM system

Convert opportunities into new business for LTT Vending

  • Professional approach to prospective customers
  • Self-generate quotes through CRM system and follow up in the required time frames
  • Advise and provide the best solution for each customer’s needs using a consultative approach
  • Provide a profitable solution for LTT Vending

Liaise effectively with Managers and Operations Team.

  • Provide new business in most appropriate areas operationally for fully managed vending services
  • Comply with weekly reporting schedule for prospects and diary management

Person Specification & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in B2B Customer Management would be preferred
  • Graduate preferred
  • Numerate and Literate
  • IT Literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to develop working relationships with all external stakeholders
  • Ability to develop positive internal working relationships
  • Team player
